What you will do

  • You will take part in architecture, design, and implementation of Emma’s technology platform, supporting our growth from E-commerce into SleepTech.
  • You will implement product features that will help improve people’s sleep and support Emma's core business.
  • You will support in developing, maintaining, and operating (full DevOps) your team’s tech stack
  • You will contribute to the improvement of our CI&CD and DevOps & SRE practices
  • You will be a team player as part of an agile, empowered team, get acquainted with mobile development topics and learn to perfect your code

What you will bring to us

  • Currently pursuing or completed Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Business Informatics, or equivalency in relevant work experience
  • Understanding of computer science fundamentals, incl. data structures, object-oriented programming, and software design patterns
  • Understanding of JavaScript or Golang as your primary backend programming language
  • Understanding of the importance of well-organized codebase and documentation
  • Ideally first experience in software development and operation practices covering the full software development lifecycle, ideally in an E-commerce business
  • You are self-organized and interested in taking over ownership and bringing the team to the best solution
  • You have strong analytical skills and are an open-minded and creative team player
  • Public GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket account with demonstrable coding projects is a plus
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken), German is a great plus
